Lincoln Chiropractor Dr. Jessica Fleming

"I just wish I had known then what I know now about chiropractic care and how important it is in a healthy lifestyle."

At the young age of ten I went to my first chiropractor after I had been to multiple medical doctors for my lower back pain. I was a level 7 gymnast at the time and I was competing almost every weekend. Most medical doctors told me to rest and my lower back would feel better, but I did not have time to rest if I wanted to accomplish my goals. Our neighbor was a Chiropractor and he had talked to my mom about my lower back problems and had convinced her that Chiropractic treatments would help my back.

I saw my chiropractor for three times a week for a couple of weeks and within the first 2 weeks I was able to get back to doing my normal routines in gymnastics. After I was out of pain, my Chiropractor discussed with me how important a monthly adjustment would be beneficial so I would not suffer from lower back pain again.

I was able to accomplish many goals in gymnastics which included competing in level 9 nationals and level 10 regionals all in large part due to my Chiropractor. He made a huge impact in my life and I knew that I wanted to impact lots of other people's lives through Chiropractic.

My Education

I began my educational experiences at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln where I studied Biology and I was also a member of the co-ed cheerleading squad. I then went to Logan University to study Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri in which I graduated magna cum laude.

We Are Different

At Advanced Chiropractic Solutions we are different from most Chiropractic clinics in Lincoln due to our ability to listen and spend time with our patients. We believe it will help our patients more if we have to actually listen to what is causing their pain, what is helping, etc. I believe that it is better to find out what is causing your pains and see what you can do naturally to help get rid of them; thus is why I became a Chiropractor. At Advanced Chiropractic Solutions we believe that everyone should be getting adjusted from newborns to senior citizens. Most people do not understand the importance of a healthy spine and healthy nerves that control the organs, muscles, and every system in your body. The most deeply inspiring aspects of practicing Chiropractic is working with kids and families.

A Little About Me...

I have been married to my high school sweetheart, Eric for over 3 years. When I am away from the office I like to travel, work out, read, hang out with friends and cook. My husband and I have ran the St. Louis half marathon together and my husband went on to run the Lincoln full marathon.

As a chiropractor I know how important it is to get regularly adjusted, so in my own life I get adjusted every 2-3 weeks. I talk to my patients about how important a healthy lifestyle is but I also live it in my everyday life. I work out 3-4 times per week mixing cardio with weight lifting. My diet includes a lot of vegetables (I wish I had a garden :), fruits, whole grain carbs, and lean protein. My husband and I like to try new healthy recipes.

Enough about me! How can we help you with today's safe and natural chiropractic care? Give us a call so we can help you take your first step towards better health.

Dr. Bangert Asks some important questions of interest to Lincoln residents - Chiropractor Lincoln Dr. Bangert Asks...

Do nerves actually get pinched?
Chiropractors recognize two types of nerve disorders involved in subluxation. The least common is a pinched nerve that diminishes nerve supply to an affected organ or tissue. More common is the irritated nerve (facilitative lesion) which overexcites nerve communications to an affected organ or tissue. Chiropractic care has been shown to help with both types.
What controls your pulse, blood pressure and cholesterol?
Conventional health care focuses on the various aspects of your blood. But these are merely effects. Chiropractic focuses on the integrity of your nervous system that controls, regulates and monitors every aspect of your circulatory system, every aspect of your body and every person in Lincoln.
